Coeur Mining, Inc. is hiring a Miner 1 at the Silvertip Mine in Northern British Columbia, Canada. This full-time, two-week rotation role involves 12-hour shifts at a remote camp and is integral to mine operations with a strong safety and teamwork focus.

Responsibilities include face prep, jumbo operation, maintenance support, pre-operational checks and daily reporting. Requires five years underground cut/fill experience, plan-reading ability, valid licenses, and physical fitness.

Qualificações

• Five years of underground cut/fill experience.
• Ability to read and follow mine plans.
• Experience operating Electric Hydraulic Jumbo and LHD.
• Valid Class 3 driver's license with air endorsement.

Responsabilidades

• Face preparation and mark-up following established procedures.
• Operate Electric Hydraulic Jumbo maintaining lines and grades.
• Assist with all other activities involved in the mining cycle.
• Assist with maintenance repairs as required.
• Perform pre-operational checks, and operate equipment according to Safe Operating Procedures.
• Monitor equipment and processes and ensure deficiencies are reported clearly.
• Conduct trouble shooting activities when problems arise.
• Complete Operator Report Sheets and Daily Logbooks.

About the Job:

Operating in a Northern British Columbia mining environment on a two week in/two week out shift rotation, the Miner 1is an integral part of the mine operations at the Silvertip Mine. Solid work ethics, regular attendance, and punctuality are essential requirements for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Face preparation and mark-up following established procedures;
• Operation of Electric Hydraulic Jumbo maintaining lines and grades;
• Assist with all other activities involved in the mining cycle;
• Assist with maintenance repairs as required;
• Perform pre-operational checks, and operate equipment according to Safe Operating Procedures;
• Monitor equipment and processes and ensure equipment deficiencies and operational issues are reported clearly;
• Conduct trouble shooting activities when problems arise;
• Complete Operator Report Sheets and Daily Logbooks.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Five {5} years’ experience in underground cut/fill operations;
• Ability to read, interpret and follow mine plan documentation;
• Ability to operate Electric Hydraulic Jumbo and LHD equipment;
• Valid driver's license;
• Experience in operating the varied equipment required for the position;
• Valid Class 3 driver's license with air endorsement;
• Physically fit to perform the duties of the position.

Additional Information:

• Willing to work a two-week rotation schedule, with 12-hour shifts per day at a remote camp.
• Eligible for Monthly Bonus;
• Our current designated marshalling locations are Vancouver, Kelowna, Nanaimo, Calgary, Edmonton, Whitehorse, Teslin, and Watson Lake.
