Job summary

CORE Industrial Services LP, part of the SECON Group, seeks a Mine Dispatch Coordinator for the BHP Mine Site in Jansen, SK. This camp-based role operates on a 7on/7off 12-hour shift, coordinating underground mining, maintenance, logistics, safety and production from the Underground Control Centre.

Responsibilities include dispatching equipment, coordinating locations, and acting as central communications for mine activities, with emphasis on safety and timely execution of the shift plan.

Qualifications

• Ability to coordinate multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong self-managing, problem-solving, planning, organizing and priority setting skills combined with a strong work ethic.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be open and flexible to change, take initiative and be a team player.
• Computer knowledge (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint).
• Pre-employment medical exam and drug test will be required.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to workplace safety policies, regulations and compliances.
• Dispatch equipment and personnel to support production priorities and changing operational conditions.
• Coordinate equipment locations and allocation to support underground operations.
• Act as the central communication contact for mine production, maintenance and safety activities.
• Monitor and coordinate daily mining activities to support execution of the shift plan.
• Communicate with shaft crews regarding lowering activities and egress interruptions.
• Escalate safety concerns and operational risks as required.
• Monitor ventilation conditions and report deviations as required.
• Communicate active delays, equipment constraints, and safety concerns.
