Job summary
Coeur Silvertip is seeking an Underground Geotechnical Engineer to provide practical, technically sound geotechnical support for underground operations at Silvertip. The role blends field work with analysis to improve ground control, stability, and safety while supporting the Ground Control Management Plan and risk management systems.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mining, Geotechnical, or related field.
- P.Eng. registration or eligibility preferred.
- 4–8 years underground geotechnical experience.
- Experience with instrumentation and monitoring programs preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide geotechnical and ground control support for underground mine operations.
- Conduct routine underground inspections and condition reviews.
- Develop ground support designs and rehabilitation plans for excavations.
- Review mine designs to identify geotechnical risks and mitigation measures.
- Support geotechnical monitoring programs and TARPs.
- Coordinate with Mine Operations and Technical Services to ensure alignment with GCMP.
