New Gold is seeking an Intermediate Underground Geotechnical Engineer for the Rainy River Mine site in Ontario. You will support both office and field activities, focusing on ground control and GCMP implementation.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Geological or Mining Engineering; Master’s is an asset.
• Registered P.Eng. with PEO or eligible for immediate registration.
• 4–7 years of experience in rock mechanics and underground ground support design; co-op/internship considered.

Aufgaben

• Provide geotechnical and ground control support for Rainy River Underground Mine.
• Mentor Geotechnical Engineers-in-Training (EITs).
• Perform numerical modelling and stope stability analyses.
• Integrate rock mass data into geotechnical design and stability assessments.
• Maintain and update GCMP; reflect design changes.
