Job summary

Noble Construction Corp. is seeking motivated personnel to assist with the construction of underground conveyor systems at the BHP Jansen Mine. The team will include Millwrights, Welders, and Miners/Belt personnel, with a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off rotating days and nights schedule.

Living out allowance or camp options are available, and travel is arranged per residence. Safety is a priority in an underground, physically demanding environment.

Qualifications

• Conveyance and belt construction experience required.
• Ability to work well with others in a collaborative crew.
• Ground control experience preferred.
• Experience operating telehandlers and scoop trams is beneficial.
• Certification in mobile crane operation is advantageous.
• Rigging experience is valuable.
• A demonstrated safe work record is essential.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and align underground conveyor systems.
• Perform belt installation, tracking, splicing, and tensioning.
• Install frames, rollers, idlers, pulleys, and drives.
• Read and interpret installation drawings and schematics.
• Use hand and power tools and lifting equipment safely.
• Conduct inspections and report defects or hazards.
• Follow mine safety regulations and company procedures.
• Work effectively in an underground mine and in physically demanding conditions.
• Support maintenance and repair work as required.
• Operate various equipment as needed.
• Follow Noble and BHP safety policies; participate in toolbox talks.
• Gather and stage materials to complete construction tasks.

Underground Conveyor Construction Personnel:

The Underground Conveyor Construction Crew will complete the installation of Underground conveyors with the direction and support of the Mechanical Supervisor and Mechanical Superintendent. The Crew will consist of Millwrights, Welders, and Miners/Belt Personnel.

Schedule: 2 weeks on 2 weeks off rotating between days and nights

Responsibilities
