Job summary

Noble Construction Corp. seeks a Supervisor to lead underground mining project operations at Mosaic K3 Underground.

You will oversee safety, scheduling, quality, and coordination with the superintendent, employees, and clients, while ensuring efficient use of labor and equipment on a two-week on, two-week off night shift rotation. The role emphasizes safety compliance, record-keeping, and ability to identify and implement field-level improvements.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a valid Class 5 license.
  • Underground mining experience preferred.
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the execution of projects to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Assign daily duties and reduce idle time where possible.
  • Schedule duties of all employees and communicate with superintendent, employees and clients.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy.
  • Maintain records related to work orders, inspections, and materials.
  • Identify areas of concern and develop action plans for improvements.
  • Attend training and seek beneficial training opportunities.
  • Implement systems to manage labor and equipment efficiently.
  • Work with project controls to provide accurate, timely information.

Job description

Noble is seeking hard working, motivated individuals to join our team as a supervisor in the fast-paced mining industry. The successful individuals will be responsible for working as part of the Noble team to help develop and maintain the construction sites.

Position Title: Supervisor

Location: Mosaic K3 Underground

Position Type: This is a project-specific position with an anticipated duration of approximately 6 months.

Schedule: Employees will work a two-week on two-week off night shift rotation.

Travel/LOA: Compensation provided to and from the work site for each turnaround, provided all company travel eligibility requirements are met. As well as a daily living out allowance for employees who meet and provide eligibility requirements.

Closing: Position will remain open until a successful candidate is hired

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the execution of projects to ensure high level of performance, both in safety and efficiency
  • Assign daily duties, (reducing as much idle time as practicable)
  • Responsible for the scheduling duties of all employees, communicating with superintendent, employees and clients.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, and company policies
  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Maintain records related to work orders, inspections, and materials
  • Make recommendations for change and improvement at the field level.
  • Identify areas of concern and develop action plans to ensure workplace improvements
  • Attend training if applicable – also look for and suggest training from which you would benefit
  • Implement systems to efficiently manage labor and equipment
  • Enable maximum efficiency and profitability of operation
  • Work closely with project controls, provide accurate and timely information
    • Communicate the importance of project controls with the employees
  • Identify upcoming and potential projects and communicating with superintendent
Safety:
  • Conduct and participate in the following exercises
    • Safety meetings
    • Tool box talks
    • Site inspections
    • Incident investigations
  • Ensure all employees are working to the highest standard of safety at all times
  • Assist in the development of all related JHA forms
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained and in good working order
Job Skills:
  • Must hold a valid class 5 license
  • Underground experience preferred
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment
Work conditions and physical capabilities:
  • Physically demanding
