Job summary

Noble Construction Corp. is seeking a dedicated Electrician for mining site work at the BHP Jansen mine. The role involves electrical installations, grounding, high-voltage terminations, and equipment mounting, with emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Ideal candidates are electricians or apprentices with 3+ years in underground mine environments, capable of 12-hour shifts and operating various mobile equipment; strong computer and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Electrician or Apprentice required.
• 600V to 25kV electrical experience.
• Trained to operate mobile equipment such as telehandlers and AWP.
• Strong computer skills and organization.
• Interpersonal and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical construction installations on site.
• Handle grounding and bonding tasks and cable terminations.
• Terminate high voltage cables and install electrical gear.
• Install motors, switchgear, and transformers.
• Attend safety meetings and toolbox talks with teams.
• Gather and stage materials for construction tasks.
• Gathering and staging various materials to complete construction task

Electrician

Noble is seeking hard working, motivated individuals to join our team as an electrician in the fast-paced mining industry. The successful individuals will be responsible for working as part of the Noble team to help develop and maintain the construction sites.

Position Title: Electrician

Location: BHP Jansen mine site

Closing: Position will remain open until a successful candidate is hired

Responsibilities:

• Various electrical construction installations including but not limited to
• Grounding and bonding
• Power and control cable terminations
• High voltage cable splices and terminations
• Various equipment installation (motors, switchgear, transformers)
• Participation in safety meeting and toolbox talks with supervision, crews and clients
• Gathering and staging various materials to complete construction task

Education and Experience:

• Electrician or Apprentice
• 600v to 25kv experience
• Trained in operating mobile equipment (Telehandlers, AWP, Etc)
• Computer skills
• Organizational, presentation and interpersonal skills
