Job summary

Noble Construction Corp. is seeking experienced Underground Conveyor Installation Technicians in the Mosaic K3 area to install, align, maintain, and repair underground conveyor systems in a mining setting.

This role requires working closely with supervisors to ensure work is completed safely and to specification. Candidates should have proven underground conveyor experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Underground conveyor installation experience
• Experience in underground mining/industrial environments
• Physically capable of heavy lifting and standing
• Able to work safely at heights and in confined spaces
• Mandatory Drug & Alcohol Screening

Responsibilities

• Install, align, and maintain underground conveyor systems
• Perform belt installation, tracking, splicing, and tensioning
• Read installation drawings and schematics
• Operate hand tools, power tools and lifting equipment safely
• Conduct inspections and report defects or hazards
• Follow mine safety regulations and company procedures
• Work effectively in confined spaces and physically demanding conditions
• Support maintenance and repair work as required
• Operate various equipment as needed
• Adhere to Noble and Mosaic safety policies
• Participate in safety meetings and toolbox talks with supervision
• Gather and stage materials to complete construction tasks

We are seeking experienced and safety-focused Underground Conveyor Installation Technicians to join our team. This role involves the installation, alignment, maintenance, and repair of underground conveyor systems in a mining environment. The successful candidate will work closely with supervisors and crew members to ensure conveyors are installed efficiently, safely, and according to specifications.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and align underground conveyor systems
• Perform belt installation, tracking, splicing, and tensioning
• Install frames, rollers, idlers, pulleys, and drives
• Read and interpret installation drawings and schematics
• Use hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment safely
• Conduct inspections and report defects or hazards
• Follow all mine safety regulations and company procedures
• Work effectively in confined spaces and physically demanding conditions
• Support maintenance and repair work as required
• Operating various pieces of equipment
• Follow Noble and Mosaic safety policies
• Participate in safety meeting and toolbox talk with supervision
• Gathering and staging various materials to complete construction task

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience with underground conveyor installations
• Experience working in an underground mining or industrial environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work safely at heights and in confined spaces
• Physically capable of heavy lifting and extended periods of standing
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to safety and safe work practices
• Mandatory Drug & Alcohol Screening

Certifications (Preferred or Required)

• GMSA
• Fall Protection
• Valid driver's license

Work Conditions

• Underground work environment
• Exposure to heat, dust, noise, and heavy equipment
• Various shifts including Shift work, possibly nights and weekends
• Rotational schedules may apply
