Job summary

Noble Construction is seeking a millwright for a project-based assignment at Mosaic K3 Underground. The position is anticipated to last about 6 months and requires you to operate a range of equipment and install, align, dismantle and maintain stationary machinery according to layout plans.

The role includes a two-week on/off night shift rotation, safety meetings and teamwork. A valid Class 5 license and underground experience are preferred; travel to the site and a living-out allowance are

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class 5 license.
• Underground experience preferred.
• Journeyman status.
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operating various pieces of equipment.
• Follow Noble and Mosaic safety policies.
• Participate in safety meeting and toolbox talk with supervision.
• Gathering and staging materials to complete construction tasks.
• Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
• Install, align, dismantle and move stationary machinery and equipment using hand/power tools.
• Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts.
• Operate machine tools to fabricate parts during overhaul or setup.
• Clean, lubricate and perform routine maintenance on machinery.

Job description

Noble is seeking hard working, motivated individuals to join our team as a millwright in the fast-paced mining industry. The successful individuals will be responsible for working as part of the Noble team to help develop and maintain the construction sites.

This is a project-specific position with an anticipated duration of approximately 6 months.

Schedule

Employees will work a two-week on two-week off night shift rotation.

Travel/LOA

Compensation provided to and from the work site for each turnaround, provided all company travel eligibility requirements are met. As well as a daily living out allowance for employees who meet and provide eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operating various pieces of equipment

• Gathering and staging various materials to complete construction task
• Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
• Install, align, dismantle and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, such as pumps, fans, tank, conveyors, furnaces and generators according to layout plans using hand and power tools
• Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts
• Operate machine tools such as grinders, impacts, etc, to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up of machinery
• Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery

Job Skills
