Job summary

Hancon Mining Division Inc. in Timmins, Ontario, is seeking a skilled underground mining professional for a full-time role. The schedule is 7 days on, 7 days off, and the position offers an hourly rate between CAD 48 and CAD 54.

You will operate an underground boom truck, conduct pre-operational inspections, load and unload materials, and participate in site safety initiatives. Valid driver's license and prior underground mining experience are required; eligible to work in Canada.

• Basic Underground Hard Rock Miner Common Core Program (770010) with the listed modules is required.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate an underground boom truck to transport materials and loads.

• Load and unload material while maintaining safe loading practices.
• Participate in workplace inspections and site safety initiatives.

About This Opportunity

This position will join our team working in Timmins, Ontario on a full-time basis.The schedule is 7 days on, 7 days off.

This position offers a salary range of $48.00 to $54.00 perhour.

Key Responsibilities

• Safelyoperate an underground boom truck to transport materials, equipment,supplies, and other loads throughout the mine.
• Performpre-operational inspections and ensure equipment is maintained in safeworking condition.
• Loadand unload material efficiently while maintaining safe loading practices.
• Participatein workplace inspections, safety meetings, and other site safetyinitiatives.
• Allother duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previousexperience in an underground mining environment.
• Basic Underground Hard Rock Miner Common CoreProgram (770010) with modules U0000, U0001, U0002, U00012, U0011, U0013 andU0024 as a minimum.
• Strongsafety mindset and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Validdriver's licence.
• Eligibleto work in Canada
