Job summary

Dumas Contracting Ltd. is seeking a MacLean Bolter Operator for underground development headings in Manitoba. You will safely operate the MacLean Bolter to install ground support per the mine plan and complete pre-operational checks.

This role requires experience in underground mining, a valid common core certification, and a strong commitment to safety. We offer a 14/14 rotation, 11.5-hour shifts, and a comprehensive benefits package including travel and lodging provisions.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a MacLean Bolter in underground mining.
• Ontario Underground Hard Rock Miner Common Core certification.
• Knowledge of drilling and blasting techniques.

Responsibilities

• Operate MacLean Bolter to install primary and secondary ground support (rock bolts, mesh, screen) in development headings according to the mine plan.
• Ensure compliance with Dumas and site-specific safety protocols and environmental regulations.
• Conduct pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on equipment, reporting all issues promptly.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to meet production targets.
• Participate in workplace inspections and hazard assessments.
