Job summary

Dumas Contracting Inc. is seeking a MacLean Bolter Operator to safely and efficiently install ground support in underground development headings.

The role requires prior MacLean Bolter experience, Ontario Underground Hard Rock Miner Common Core certification, and a proven safety record; candidates must be able to work in confined spaces and meet production targets. Dumas offers comprehensive benefits and site-specific training.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a MacLean Bolter in an underground mine.
• Knowledge of drilling and blasting techniques.
• Ability to work in physically demanding, confined spaces.
• Valid Ontario Underground Hard Rock Miner Common Core certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate MacLean Bolter to install ground support (rock bolts, mesh, screen) in development headings.
• Follow safety protocols and environmental regulations.
• Perform pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on equipment.
• Communicate with supervisors to meet production targets.
• Participate in workplace inspections and hazard assessments.
• All other duties as assigned by leadership.
