Job summary

Alamos Gold Inc. Young-Davidson in Matachewan, Ontario is seeking an experienced Underground Development Miner, MacLean Bolter to safely install ground support with mechanized bolting equipment.

You will report to the Mine Operations Supervisor and help identify unsafe conditions while supporting underground development. The role requires 5–7 years in underground mining, at least 2 years with MacLean bolting, and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of underground mining experience.
• Minimum 2 years of MacLean bolting experience.
• Accreditation in basic common core and specialty common core.

Responsibilities

• Ground Support Installation: Install ground support using mechanized bolting equipment.
• Workplace Safety: Identify unsafe conditions and perform duties in a safe and efficient manner.
• Services Installation and Repair: Install and repair underground services as required.
• Equipment Operation: Complete pre-operational inspections and operate equipment safely.
• Communication and Progress Tracking: Keep track of work progress and communicate workplace status to the supervisor.
