Job summary

Thyssen Mining is seeking experienced Jumbo Operators and MacLean Bolters to join our underground mining teams in Saskatchewan. You will operate and maintain bolting equipment, install ground support, and read mine drawings while prioritizing safety and productivity.

Qualified candidates have 5+ years of underground development experience and hold a valid Underground Hard Rock Miner Common Core certification. Camp accommodations and travel support are provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of underground mine development experience.
• Proven experience operating MacLean Bolters and Jumbos.
• Valid Underground Hard Rock Miner Common Core certification.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate MacLean, Jumbo, or similar bolting equipment.
• Install ground support systems per plans.
• Read mine drawings and bolt pattern specs.
• Perform pre-operational inspections and maintenance.
• Monitor rock conditions and report safety concerns.
• Record operations and communicate with supervision.
• Participate in safety programs and continuous improvement.
