Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security experience, retail or mall preferred.
• Undercover or loss-prevention experience is an asset.
• Occupational First Aid Level 1 (OFA 1) or equivalent is an asset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong report-writing and documentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct undercover surveillance to identify theft, suspicious activity, and security risks.
• Monitor customer behaviour and identify patterns or activity that may indicate potential theft.
• Maintain a discreet and professional presence while working throughout the retail environment.
• Respond to security concerns and incidents in accordance with company and client procedures.
• Complete accurate, detailed, and professional incident reports and case documentation.
• Work closely with store management and fellow security professionals to support loss prevention efforts.
• Identify and report safety concerns, security risks, and operational issues.
• Maintain strong situational awareness and exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced environment.
• Work across retail locations as operationally required.
