A leading global mining company located near Marathon, Ontario, is seeking a UG Mobile Maintenance Supervisor. This role involves overseeing the maintenance of underground mobile equipment, leading a skilled team, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of maintenance experience with strong technical skills in heavy equipment. This position offers a comprehensive compensation package and requires residency within commuting distance of the mine site.
The Underground Mobile Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of all underground mobile equipment, including drills, bolters, scoop trams, haul trucks, and support vehicles. This leadership role ensures that mobile fleet performance aligns with operational targets through safe, timely, and cost-effective maintenance practices. The Supervisor leads a team of tradespeople and works closely with operations, planning, and other departments to minimize equipment downtime and maximize fleet availability.
This is a residential position operating on a 7/7 rotation schedule, working 12‑hour day and night shifts. The successful candidate must reside within commuting distance of the mine site; a local travel allowance is provided.
