Job summary

FLINT Corp. is seeking skilled tradespeople for the Conklin, AB turnaround. Positions include Foreperson, Equipment Operator, Pipefitter, Rig Welder and Welder Helper on a camp-based site from Sept 1 to Sept 11.

Applicants must hold a Journeyperson or Apprentice Trade certificate, have 4+ years in oil/gas construction, and meet safety ticket requirements. English communication, a valid license, and reliable transport are essential. Camp accommodations provided.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Journeyperson or Apprentice Trade certificate.
• Minimum 4 years in oil and gas construction projects preferred.
• Meet mandatory safety tickets: Common Safety Orientation; Fall Protection; H2S Alive; Confined Space Entry; First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Remove three existing economizers and install three new economizers.
• Conduct maintenance on evaporators during turnaround.
• Work on the straight-through schedule and adhere to camp-based rotation.
• Mobilization and demobilization provided every rotation. Camp onsite.

Details

• * Turnaround Scope: Removal of three existing economizers and installation of three new economizers.
• Conduct maintenance on evaporators.
• * Straight through Schedule.
• * 8 hours regular time and 4 hours overtime workdays.
• * Mobilization/Demobilization provided every rotation.
• * Camp only.

Qualifications

• * Valid Journeyperson or Apprentice Trade certificate.
• * Minimum 4 years in oil and gas construction projects preferred.
• * Meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements: + Common Safety Orientation
• * No virtual option — in-person attendance required for the following ticket requirements. + Fall Protection + H2S Alive + Confined Space Entry + First Aid
• * Welders are to provide the following tickets: + CWB + SS Tig + B-Pressure
• * Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions.
• * Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
• * Must have your own reliable transportation to the site.
• * Valid driver’s license and clean 5-year Driver’s Abstract with under 6 demerits.

Additional Information

This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
