Job summary

Pinson TM Limited is recruiting Trainee and Qualified Traffic Management Operatives. The role involves setting up temporary traffic lights, managing traffic flow, and ensuring safety on site in line with RAMS and CAD drawings.

You may work with direct or sub-contract labour to meet targets and deadlines. Candidates should have Lantra traffic management qualifications, be able to pass a drugs and alcohol check, have the right to work in the UK, and hold a full UK driving licence with no more than

Qualifications

• Lantra approved Traffic Management Qualifications.
• Must pass a Drugs & Alcohol check.
• Right to Work in the UK confirmed.
• Driving licence issued in the UK with ≤6 points.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate temporary traffic lights at required roads.
• Manage traffic flow at temporary signals and ensure public compliance.
• Report issues to site or operations manager promptly.
• Read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Ensure safe working practices and RAMS compliance.
• Assist with loading/unloading of materials and defects reporting.

Pinson TM are working with some of the largest traffic management companies across the UK, and due to an increase in work, we are recruiting for Trainee & Qualified Traffic Management Operatives.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking both operatives and drivers with Traffic Management experience. This is a great opportunity to join one of our leading Traffic Management clients.

Scope of Role:

Trainee Operatives & Qualified Operatives will be working with both the direct labour and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time.

Duties may include:

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required
• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this
• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager
• Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work
• Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and remove traffic management within the required time scales.
• Setting up traffic lights.Assisting with the diversion of traffic.
• To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
• Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.
• To help with the unloading/loading of materials.
• Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and
• Risk Assessments.
• Reporting plant & vehicle defects.
