Job summary

Chevron Traffic Management is hiring for Night Shift Traffic Management Operatives (Qualified) to support road safety across projects in the UK. You will install, operate and maintain traffic control devices, lead crews and ensure safe, efficient delivery of work during night shifts.

Qualified operatives with LTMO/Foreman/IPV credentials and a valid UK driving licence are essential. The role offers guaranteed hours, overtime, a welcome bonus, and benefits under Ramudden Global UK.

Qualifications

  • LTMO or 12a/12b Traffic Management Foreman qualification and IPV qualification are required.
  • Familiarity with Chapter 8 regulations.
  • Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points; HGV licence preferred.
  • Must pass drug and alcohol screening (conditions apply).
  • Positive can-do attitude with flexibility and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain and remove traffic management equipment (cones, signs, barriers, lights).
  • Drive and operate IPV vehicles where qualified.
  • Lead or support a crew to deliver work safely and efficiently.
  • Set up and manage lane closures, road closures and diversions.
  • Conduct site checks in line with regulations and report findings.

Location: Wraysbury, TW19 6HA

Fantastic location, with ease of access from the motorway, close to Windsor and Maidenhead

Hours: Night shifts - must be flexible to work weekends if and when required.

Your role across our Traffic Management Team

Whether you join us as an Operative, Foreman, or IPV Foreman/Operative, you’ll play a key role in keeping roads safe and projects running smoothly.

Your Responsibilities May Include
  • Installing, maintaining, and removing traffic management equipment (cones, signs, barriers, and lights)
  • Driving and operating IPV vehicles where qualified
  • Leading or supporting a crew to ensure all work is delivered safely and efficiently
  • Setting up and managing lane closures, road closures, and diversion routes
  • Carrying out site checks in line with Chapter 8 regulations
  • Communicating with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Completing traffic counts, reports, and near-miss documentation
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards at all times
  • Supporting and mentoring trainees and new team members
  • Assisting supervisors and managers to ensure projects are delivered on time
What are we looking for?
Essential
  • Qualifications: 12b LTMO or 12a Traffic Management Foreman qualification and IPV qualification
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with Chapter 8 regulations
  • Driving Licence: Full licence with no more than 6 points. Any driving bans must have expired at least 5 years ago, plus an HGV licence
  • Testing: Must pass a drug and alcohol test (offer contingent on results)
  • Attitude: Positive, “can-do” mindset
  • Skills: Adaptability, flexibility, and meticulous attention to detail
