Job summary

Pinson TM Limited is recruiting Trainee & Qualified Traffic Management Operatives and Drivers with experience in traffic management. You will work on setting up temporary traffic lights, managing traffic flow, reading CAD drawings, and ensuring safety and on-time delivery of tasks.

The role requires LANTRA qualifications, the ability to pass a drugs and alcohol check, and a valid UK driving licence. On-site work and adherence to RAMS are essential.

Qualifications

• Lantra approved Traffic Management qualifications.
• Ability to pass a Drugs & Alcohol check.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Full UK driving licence with up to 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Set up temporary traffic lights at sites as required.
• Manage traffic flow at temporary lights and ensure public compliance.
• Report to site or operations manager as needed.
• Read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintain and remove traffic management within deadlines.
• Assist with diverting traffic and setting up traffic lights.
• Ensure work is performed safely and in line with RAMS and Method Statements.

Pinson TM are working with some of the largest traffic management companies across the UK, and due to an increase in work, we are recruiting for Trainee & Qualified Traffic Management Operatives.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking both operatives and drivers with Traffic Management experience. This is a great opportunity to join one of our leading Traffic Management clients.

All Candidates must have experience in one or more of the below positions:

• M1 / M2 Operative
  

Scope of Role:

Qualified M1/M2 Operatives will be working with both the direct labour and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time.

Duties may include:

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required
• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this
• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager
• Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work
• Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and remove traffic management within the required time scales.
• Setting up traffic lights.
• Assisting with the diversion of traffic.
• To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
• Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.
• To help with the unloading/loading of materials.
• Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and
  Risk Assessments.
• Reporting plant & vehicle defects.
