Job summary

Pinson TM Limited is recruiting for Trainee and Qualified Traffic Management Operatives in the UK. You will join a team responsible for setting up and managing temporary traffic controls, reading CAD drawings, and ensuring safety and compliance on site.

The role involves working with direct and sub-contract Labour to meet targets, with opportunities for progression as you gain experience in traffic management operations.

Qualifications

• Lantra approved Traffic Management qualifications required.
• Be able to pass a Drugs & Alcohol check.
• Right to Work in the UK required; valid driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up temporary traffic lights at roads as required.
• Manage traffic flow at temporary lights and ensure the public comply.
• Read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking both operatives and drivers with Traffic Management experience. This is a great opportunity to join one of our leading Traffic Management clients.

All Candidates must have experience in one or more of the below positions:

Scope of Role:

Trainee Operatives & Qualified Operatives will be working with both the direct labour and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time.

Duties may include:

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required
• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this
• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager
• Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work
• Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and remove traffic management within the required time scales.
• Setting up traffic lights.
• Assisting with the diversion of traffic.
• To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
• Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.
• To help with the unloading/loading of materials.
• Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and
  Risk Assessments.
• Reporting plant & vehicle defects.
