Job summary

JENCOR LIMITED is seeking a truck driver for short-haul routes in Canada. The position is permanent with weekly hours between 30 and 35. You will operate a manual transmission vehicle, perform inspections, and ensure cargo security.

Qualified candidates hold an AZ class license and a secondary school diploma or equivalent, with good communication in English and the ability to travel as required. Local travel and overnight stays may be involved.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload goods
• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
• Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
