Job summary

HSBC in Winnipeg seeks an experienced truck driver for a permanent, full-time position involving long-haul transportation across Canada and international routes. Expect 40 hours per week with varied shifts, and frequent travel by road. You will operate GPS systems and manage cargo, while maintaining safety and vehicle readiness.

Requirements include a Class 1 or A license and 2–3 years of driving experience, along with strong teamwork, reliability, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Secondary school graduation certificate and a valid Class 1/A license are required.
• 2–3 years of driving/haulage experience preferred.
• Ability to operate GPS and perform basic vehicle inspections.

Responsibilities

• Professionalism in customer service

• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment

• Perform preventive maintenance
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch
