Job summary

Autism Services is seeking professional truck drivers to operate across multiple locations in Canada. The role involves planning routes, loading and unloading cargo, and maintaining safety and compliance while delivering goods to customers.

You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, communicate with central dispatch, and monitor fuel usage and maintenance. A valid Class 1 or A license with Air Brakes is required, along with a commitment to reliable, customer-focused service.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 or A license with Air Brakes endorsement.
• Experience using GPS for route planning and fuel efficiency.
• Familiarity with safety/compliance regulations for trucking.

Responsibilities

• Plan or adjust routes using GPS to minimize fuel consumption.
• Address customers' complaints or concerns.
• Load and unload goods safely.
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Record cargo information, hours of service and distance travelled.
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
• Tarp cargo and ensure security of goods.
