Job summary

Martial Excavation Inc. is seeking a truck and bus driver/commercial vehicle operator and instructor to join the team on site in Canada.

The role involves operating and driving trucks, loading/unloading goods, and ensuring vehicle safety and compliance with dispatch instructions. The position requires 3–5 years of related experience, a College/CEGEP or equivalent background, and a relevant driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional customer service.
• Load and unload goods.
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
• Inspect vehicle condition: tires, lights, brakes, and equipment.
• Handle payments for goods and services.
• Perform brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs.
• Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.
• Perform preventive maintenance on vehicles.
• Relay information to central dispatch.
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel use.
