Responsibilities:

• As a floor Truck Mechanic, keepmaintenance reports, work orders and documentation.
• Troubleshoot and inspect equipment todetect faults and malfunctions.
• Diagnose and complete all repairs safelyand within company policy and manufacturer specifications.
• Adjust, repair, or replace parts andcomponents of automotive and truck systems including fuel systems, brakes,steering and suspension, engine and drive train, chassis, frame, cab,body, air brakes, emission control and exhaust, cooling and climate controland electrical and electronic systems using hand tools and otherspecialized repair equipment. (Aligned with duties as per NOC#72410)
• Test repaired equipment for properperformance.
• Communicate regularly with managersregarding repair status and concerns.
• Work as part of a team to support thedaily needs of the operation.
• Provide guidance and Instruct apprenticesand other junior team members.
• Perform scheduled maintenance service,such as oil changes, lubricants, and tune ups.
• Work as part of a team to support the dailyneeds of the operation.
• Maintain a clean & organizedshop/equipment work area.
• Suggest positive changes to processes orprocedures to enhance operational efficiency.
• Suggest positivechanges to processes or procedures to enhance operational efficiency; and
• Observe safe workpractices.

Qualifications:

• 310T or Red Seal License; or equivalentto challenge provincial exam.
• Must have over 4 years working experiencein the trade.
• Must have completed training courses inthe trade.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Experience with hydraulic and electricalsystems is an asset.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Basic proficiency with use of computers.
• Previous work experience in working withonline preventative maintenance programs.
• Ability to stand/lift60lbs/carrying/bending/twisting for periods at a time/repeatedly.
• Effective communication skills (bothwritten & verbal); and
• Punctual, reliable, team player
• Must have the ability to speak, write andread English.

Wage: Minimum $38.00/hour - $42.00/hour.

Full-time, permanent in either Woodstock, Smith Falls orNapanee, Ontario.
