Job description

Job Summary

The Auto Mechanic 310T is responsible for inspecting, repairing, maintaining, and conducting diagnostic tests on the UPS vehicle fleet.

Job Details

• Type: Full-Time / Permanent
• Workdays: Monday to Friday (must be available to work all 5 days)
• Shift Hours: 6:30 PM to 2:30 AM (minimum 40 hours/week)
• Shift Duration: 8 hours (flexibility with start and end times required)
• Hourly Wage: $31.00

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and maintain UPS diesel, propane, CNG, and gasoline vehicles in a timely manner.
• Operate/test company vehicles within UPS facilities and on public roads.

Requirements

• Valid Red Seal 310T license (required)
• Clean Driver's Abstract: No violations/accidents in the last 12 months; no more than 2 violations in the past 36 months; no violations within the last 12 months with a maximum of 5 demerit points in the past 36 months.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. (32 kg) unassisted. Typical package weight ranges from 25-35 lbs.
• Possession of essential trade tools and equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational and troubleshooting skills.
• Must pass a Pre-Employment Road Test.
