The Long-Haul division, headquartered in Ayr, Ontario, specializes in hauling and transportation of waste from transfer stations to landfills. We are seeking licensed or Level 2+ Apprentice 310J and 310T technicians to join our team.

Shifts Available

• Dayshift: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
• Afternoon Shift: 4, 10-hour shifts (Monday - Thursday AND Tuesday - Friday), rotation included

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems
• Use vehicle electronics to interpret failure modes and initiate repairs
• Estimate repair times and costs
• Respond to emergency breakdowns
• Conduct safety checks on vehicles and equipment
• Complete paperwork using fleet maintenance software
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow safety procedures
• Assist and guide apprentices
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 310T or J Truck and Coach License
• Level 2 or higher Apprentice (310T)
• Valid G driver's license and reliable transportation
• Own tools required
• Welding experience is an asset
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Priority given to those with 3+ years of experience
