Job summary

Advantage Personnel is hiring a Truck Helper / General Labourer in Elmsdale, NS. The role runs Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to about 4:00–5:00 p.m., with pay at $18.00 per hour. You will assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials from delivery trucks and support daily delivery/truck duties.

This position is physically active and requires reliability, punctuality, and the ability to perform repetitive lifting and general labour tasks throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs. or more as required.
• Comfortable with repetitive lifting and physical labour throughout the shift.
• Previous general labour, warehouse, moving, or delivery helper experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload items from delivery trucks safely and efficiently
• Move and handle heavy materials, including doors, windows, and other products
• Assist drivers and team members with truck-related duties as required
• Handle materials carefully to prevent damage during loading, unloading, and delivery
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Follow company safety procedures and site instructions
• Perform other general labour duties as assigned
