Job summary

John Ross & Sons Ltd. in Goodwood, Nova Scotia, is seeking reliable laborers for full-time day shifts. You will load, unload, and move products, sort and prepare items for shipping, and assist production staff while upholding strict PPE and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of heavy lifting general labour is an asset.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs consistently.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic equipment.
• Sort and prepare products for shipping or storage.
• Assist machine operators and other production staff as needed.
• Accurately label and tag products.
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area.
• Upholding safety procedures.
• Ensure deficiencies are noted and reported to management.
• Other labor duties as necessary.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

• Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic equipment
• Sort and prepare products for shipping or storage
• Assist machine operators and other production staff as needed.

• Ensure deficiencies are noted and reported to management
• Other labor duties as necessary
