Job summary

You will be comfortable working outdoors, lifting heavy items, and following safety procedures. Monday to Friday schedule with early starts; weekly payroll via direct deposit and 4% vacation pay apply.

Qualifications

• CSA-approved steel-toe boots, hard hat, safety vest, safety glasses and gloves required.
• Capable of physically demanding work including lifting and carrying materials.
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous construction, warehouse, delivery or general labour experience is an asset.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Load trucks and cube vans with construction materials and fixtures according to the delivery schedule.
• Ride along with the delivery driver to customer locations and job sites.
• Safely unload building materials and fixtures at each customer location.
• Assist with moving and carrying materials as required.
• Help with general clean-up and organization of the lumber yard at day end.
• Follow all safety procedures and communicate with drivers and team members.
• Perform other general labour and material-handling duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities
