Job summary

Vintage Hotels’ Niagara’s Finest Hotels is seeking a Trolley Driver to join our team. You will coordinate and provide guest tours, operating company vehicles and ensuring safe transport to wineries while delivering engaging narration.

Ideal candidates will have a clean driving record, a valid B or C license with Z-endorsement and at least two years in transportation, with a focus on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Must have a clean driving record for insurance purposes.
• Valid class B or C driver's license with Z-endorsement.
• Two years of experience in a transportation environment.
• Basic auto mechanics experience is an asset.
• Excellent safety record.

Responsibilities

• Provide tours for guests and operate various company vehicles.

• Drive buses, vans, and other company vehicles; assist with maintenance.

Position Summary:

Responsible for coordinating and providing tours for guests and driving various company vehicles as requested/needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Primary Responsibilities:

• Providing personalized and exceptional guest service at every given opportunity
• Provides comprehensive, entertaining wine tour narration to tour participants
• Provides punctual, organized transportation to wineries
• Collects and verifies tour reports and tour participants
• Drive bus, vans, and other company owned vehicles
• Assist with vehicle maintenance
• Having a thorough knowledge of Lais Hotel Properties Limited’s products and services
• Actively seeking ways to meet guests’ product or service needs
• All other duties as assigned

Professional Requirements:

• Must be 25 years old and hold a clean driving record for insurance purposes
• A valid class “B” or “C” driver’s license with a Z-endorsement
• Two years experience in a transportation environment
• Basic auto mechanics experience an asset
• Excellent safety record
• Previous up-selling and/or sales experience is considered an asset

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
• Must be able to push or pull heavy loads up to 50 lbs
