Job summary

RBC is seeking a Financial Advisor in Canada. You will attract, nurture, and grow relationships with high-value personal and small business clients, providing proactive advice across banking, investments, and credit. Travel between branch locations is expected as part of employment.

As an advisor, you’ll collaborate with RBC partners to deliver tailored financial solutions and support clients through major life events with a client-centric approach.

Qualifications

• Valid Mutual Funds accreditation (Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course)
• Québec Certificate of Achievement in Personal Finance (Québec)
• 1–2 years of proven sales experience in financial services handling credit and investments
• Demonstrated ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships
• Digital literacy across devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops)
• Bilingualism (English and French) required to serve clients in both languages

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate empathy and understand client circumstances in all interactions
• Uncover client needs and deliver client-centric advice at first contact
• Coordinate with RBC partners to meet clients' financial needs (personal and business)
• Provide professional advice on complex credit and investments with suitable solutions
• Promote digital self-serve while delivering advised service in preferred channel
• Use technology to connect with clients virtually and face-to-face
• Develop strategies to acquire and retain clients in the local community
• Collaborate with financial planning, mortgages, and business banking experts to tailor advice
