Job summary

RBC is seeking an all‑around Financial Advisor in Beaconsfield, QC. The role involves attracting, nurturing, and growing high‑value personal and small business client relationships, delivering proactive, professional advice across banking, investments, and credit.

You will collaborate with RBC partners to help clients achieve goals and manage life events, while guiding digital enablement and offering solutions across channels. Travel between branch locations is a condition of employment.

Qualifications

• Valid Mutual Funds accreditation (Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course).
• Quebec – Completed Certificate of Achievement – Personal Finance, offered through the Canadian Securities Institute.
• 1-2 years of proven sales experience in the financial services industry, handling credit and investments.
• Bilingualism (English and French) required to regularly serve English and French-speaking clients.

Responsibilities

• Consistently demonstrate empathy and understanding in interactions with clients and colleagues.
• Communicate effectively to uncover client needs and deliver client-centric advice.
• Use RBC ecosystem partners to meet clients' financial needs (personal and business).
• Provide professional advice on credit and investments suitable for client circumstances.
• Educate clients on digital self-service while guiding them to channel of choice.
• Use technology to connect with clients both virtually and in person.
• Develop contact/relationship-building strategies to accelerate client acquisition and retention at the local level.
• Collaborate with financial planning, mortgages, and business banking experts to deliver tailored advice.
