Job summary

RBC in Canada seeks a Financial Advisor to attract, nurture and grow relationships with high-value personal and small business clients. You will provide proactive, professional advice across everyday banking, investments and credit, and collaborate with RBC partners to help clients achieve their goals.

As an expert advisor, you will educate clients on digital channels, build long-term relationships, and work with specialists to tailor solutions in your local community.

Qualifications

• Must have Valid Mutual Funds accreditation (Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course).
• Canada (excluding Quebec) - Completed DFSA designation through the Canadian Securities Institute.
• Quebec – Certificate of Achievement – Personal Finance through the Canadian Securities Institute.

Responsibilities

• Consistently demonstrate empathy and understanding in all client interactions.
• Communicate effectively to uncover client needs and deliver client-centric advice.
• Collaborate with RBC partners to meet clients' financial needs and life goals.
• Provide professional advice on credit and investments with suitable solutions.
• Promote digital enablement and encourage clients to self-serve while providing guidance."
• Engage with clients both virtually and in person to strengthen relationships.
• Build strategies to acquire and retain new clients in the local community.
• Coordinate with banking and planning experts to deliver tailored advice.
