Job summary

Air Transat in Canada is seeking a Travel Consultant to plan and book dream vacations, understand client needs, and recommend destinations, itineraries, and accommodations. You will develop your client base through personalized service and proactive prospecting.

You will manage file follow-ups, including payments, changes, confirmations, and full support until return, with agencies open 7 days a week, including evenings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales experience in a retail environment with targets.
• OPC certification is mandatory.
• Ability to develop strong and authentic business relationships.
• Excellent team spirit and collaboration; ability to help achieve goals.
• Strong communication skills and dynamic attitude.
• Comfortable with social media and quick software learning.
• Flexible to evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on travel options offered by partners.
• Develop and maintain a loyal clientele through personalized service.
• Prospect and create business opportunities to support sales growth.
• Manage client files from booking to trip finalization.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales and revenue targets.
• Analyze customer needs quickly and propose tailored solutions.
• Sell travel packages including complex itineraries (Apollo and Sirev).
• Stay updated on market trends and adapt to travelers' needs.
