Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Transportation Coordinator for our retail client in the GTA. This fully onsite 6-month contract role runs a 12-hour rotation including weekends. You will support daily logistics, oversee dispatch, and coordinate between drivers, vendors, and internal teams. Training is provided and ideal for a recent graduate.

The role requires basic Excel/Google Sheets, strong decision-making, and familiarity with Ontario geography. Path extension potential will be evaluated.

Qualifications

• Background in supply chain, logistics, or a related field.
• Basic proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (data entry, copy/paste etc.).
• Strong decision-making and critical thinking skills and a strategic mindset.
• Familiarity with GTA geography (routes within Ontario).
• Willingness to be trained in WHMIS procedures for spill cleanup and protocols.

Employment: 6-Month Contract + Extension

Rate: $18.00-$18.50 Per Hour

Insight Global is looking for a Transportation Coordinator to join our retail client's Transportation team in the GTA for a 6 month contract (with potential extension). This is a fully onsite role, which runs a 12hr rotation of shifts (including weekends). The Transportation Operations Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting daily logistics and dispatch functions, ensuring smooth coordination between drivers, vendors, and internal teams. This entry-level position involves managing transportation systems, handling data entry and reporting, tracking store transfers and vendor appointments, and responding to operational issues such as trailer servicing and spill cleanups. Ideal for a recent graduate, the role offers in-house training and requires strategic decision-making, basic spreadsheet skills, and familiarity with the GTA’s geography.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
