Job summary

The District of West Vancouver is seeking a Permanent Full-Time Transit Service Coordinator I to oversee the day-to-day scheduling of drivers and buses for efficient transit service delivery.

Reporting to the Manager of Planning and Service Delivery, you will respond to road calls, manage time sheets, and maintain running sheets while exercising strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 education with computer and customer service courses.
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel.
• A valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence is required.
• Experience in public transit dispatching is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling drivers and buses for daily transit service.
• Responding to road calls from operators and emergency services.
• Processing time cards and payroll inquiries.
• Maintaining departmental reports and records.
