Job summary

Transdev Canada is hiring an Operations Supervisor for the Brampton, Ontario location. You will oversee daily transit operations, supervise staff, manage on-time performance, and coordinate with Maintenance to ensure continuous service and safety compliance.

The role requires at least 5 years in rail or transit, supervisory experience, a valid Ontario G license, and ability to work a 24/7/365 schedule. You will mentor staff and promote a respectful, inclusive work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years rail or transit experience, including supervisory roles.
• Must have a valid Ontario class G driver’s license in good standing.
• Ability to work a 24/7/365 schedule
• Knowledge of safety, compliance, and PPP/rail operations procedures.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations for transit staff and contractual agreements.
• Manage schedules, on-time performance, and incident response.
• Supervise staff and train new operating personnel on procedures.
• Act as Incident Commander during emergencies and coordinate restoration of service.
• Interface with Maintenance and other departments to ensure continuous service.
