Job summary

Voyago, Transdev Ontario, is seeking a Lead Trainer based in Etobicoke to support operations across the GTA. The role focuses on training drivers for company-owned vehicles, upholding our Safety-first culture.

You will conduct driver assessments, deliver training programs, upgrade licenses, lead external sessions, and support the Transit Supervisor with projects. The position offers full-time hours, Monday–Friday, with an hourly rate of $27.

Qualifications

• Valid B or E Class license held for 3+ years
• Clean driver abstract with no demerit points
• Clean vulnerable sector screening
• Proven track record of excellent customer service
• Strong knowledge of Durham Region and surrounding areas
• Effective organizational and communication skills
• Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
• Understanding of vehicle-for-hire industry regulations
• Familiarity with wheelchair tie-down systems (Q’Straint and similar)
• Possess signing authority

Responsibilities

• Conduct Driver Assessments to evaluate skill, safety, and readiness
• Deliver Voyago Division Training Programs in accordance with company standards
• Facilitate License Upgrading programs for B Class licensing
• Lead external instructional training sessions as required
• Support the Transit Supervisor with additional duties and projects as assigned
