RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC

The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre located in Montreal, Quebec. The Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) and is affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. It is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS).

Position Summary

The Training and Learning Solutions Advisor will oversee the day-to-day operations related to planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating training programs at RI-MUHC. The Advisor will also lead a group of training champions within the Institute.

Key responsibilities include managing the Learning Management System (LMS), updating training content with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), developing onboarding programs, and contributing to new course development. The Advisor will handle internal communications related to training, help develop organizational strategies, and facilitate discussions on training and learning initiatives across the institution.

General Duties

1. Develop and publish high-quality e-learning content for diverse audiences.
2. Enhance existing training programs and materials continuously.
3. Create interactive instructional materials such as courses, curricula, user guides, and manuals.
4. Design and implement comprehensive onboarding programs for new hires.
5. Coordinate and deliver daily training activities.
6. Lead discussions on training, promote knowledge sharing, and design courses for trainers.
7. Generate reports for stakeholders and directors, and manage training program applications and admissions.
