Job summary

Bison Transport Inc is seeking a Licensed Trailer Technician for the North Shop in Balzac, AB. The role entails performing preventative maintenance and repairs on the fleet, diagnosing issues from inspections, and prescribing remedial actions in a timely manner.

You will work with a Service Coordinator, Tractor Mechanics, and fellow Trailer Mechanics, with weekend shifts 06:00-18:30. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered for licensed journeypersons, along with comprehensive benefits and growth

Qualifications

• Certified Journeyman Technician or Red Seal is required.
• Experience with safety inspections is a plus and CVIP is mandatory.
• Experience using computers to enter work orders.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on the Bison fleet.
• Diagnose problems found during inspections and prescribe remedies.
• Collaborate with Service Coordinator, Tractor Mechanics, and other Trailer Technicians to complete tasks.
