Job summary

Bison Transport is seeking a Licensed Trailer Technician for the Balzac, AB area. You will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on the fleet, diagnose problems and apply corrective actions, working with a team of technicians and coordinators.

The role requires CVIP eligibility and strong computer-based work order entry skills. The position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus for licensed journeypersons, boot and tool allowance, health and dental benefits, and a comprehensive wellness and

Qualifications

Must be a certified Journeyman Technician or Red Seal Mechanic.
Strong diagnosing and time-management abilities are essential for success in this role.
Experience with safety inspections is an asset; ability to obtain CVIP is mandatory.
Experience using computers to enter work orders.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on the Bison fleet, diagnosing issues and prescribing remedial actions.
Collaborate with Service Coordinator, Tractor Mechanics and other Trailer Technicians to complete work efficiently.
Maintain accurate electronic work orders and documentation.
