National Bank of Canada is seeking an Analyst for North American Trade Settlement Operations in Capital Markets. You will support settlement activities, analyze discrepancies in Canadian equities, and collaborate across units to improve processes.

This role offers a hybrid work model and opportunities across lines. Ideal candidates bring Capital Markets Operations experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work under pressure while staying rigorous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with relevant business experience.
• Knowledge of listed products required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Excel; ability to learn IT systems.
• Experience in Capital Markets Operations.
• Knowledge of the CDS system is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Act as a resource person for transaction settlement activities within Capital Markets.
• Ensure the settlement of equity transactions at the depository.
• Analyze discrepancies related to operational processes for Canadian equities.
• Follow up on activities and ensure compliance with policies, standards, and procedures.
• Interact with various Bank areas to provide technical support to stakeholders.
• Provide information for decision-making and suggest process improvements.
