Job summary

Core Centre Of Resource Excellence Inc in Toronto is seeking a seasoned Business Systems Analyst to support the Settlements & Clearing program, focusing on derivative settlements and ISO20022 transitions.

You will document requirements, create detailed process flows, and collaborate with front office, technology, and operations to ensure timely, compliant delivery. Hybrid work arrangement and a 9-month contract with 3 openings; 37.5 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst
• Strong working knowledge of derivative settlements cycles and methods
• 2-3 years of experience with SWIFT messages or ISO implications for delivery in 2026
• Proficiency in creating detailed documentation, including functional specifications, process flows, and use cases

Responsibilities

• Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
• Effectively support, communicate with, and maintain excellent working relations with front office, clients, technology, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely processes.
• Provide accurate and informative analysis to management.
• Act as the first point of contact for Operations Teams for project related asks.
• Support Senior Management in providing project overview, effective updates & review of outstanding deliverables that may present against the critical path.
• Consistently seek opportunities for process improvements to maximize efficiencies.
• Understand how risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to analyze and document requirements for Settlements back-office module enhancements.
• Create detailed process flows operationally and technically with architecture teams for SOPs and training guides.
• Review and action Settlement system requests with Derivatives Back office business line to document acceptance criteria.
• Capture detailed business and technical requirement documents into existing user stories and support testing.
• Must be an expert in documenting process flows and communicating to leadership for review and buy-in.
• Work closely with project managers, developers, and QA teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions.
