Job summary

Scotiabank in Toronto, Canada, is seeking an Analyst for FX Operations on a 12-month contract. You will support the confirmations and settlements process, perform daily trade affirmation, settlement, and investigations, and collaborate with front office, technology, and clients to ensure accurate, timely processing.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in capital markets or equivalent, familiarity with FX products, and proficiency with Wallstreet, FXALL, MISYS, GTSS and Bloomberg.

Qualifications

• University Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Capital Markets

Responsibilities

• Complete day-to-day operational activities including trade affirmation/confirmation, daily settlements, and investigation of settlement issues.
• Maintain cash controls and perform reconciliations; participate in team projects as needed.
• Liaise with front office, clients, technology and other stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely processes and address discrepancies.
• Provide accurate and informative analysis to FX Settlements management upon request.
• Offer excellent customer service and insightful analysis for FX settlements and related investigations.
