Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group Ltd. in Toronto, Ontario, Canada is seeking a Trade Support Analyst to support our Fixed Income Portfolio Managers and Trade desks in execution, processing and settlement of debt securities, money markets, derivatives and FX.

The role requires 2+ years of trade operations experience in asset management, strong MS Office skills, and excellent communication. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement with in-office and remote days.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of trade operations experience within Asset Management or related field, preferably Fixed Income/Derivatives/FX.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Effective communicator in both verbal and written communications.

Responsibilities

• Support Fixed Income Portfolio Managers and Trade desks in execution, processing and settlement of debt securities, money market, Derivatives and FX.
• Cover transactions in our pooled fund offerings and segregated client mandates.
• Work with Trade Desks to ensure efficient trading within tight deadlines.
• Onboard new accounts, products and counterparties in relevant internal systems.
• Ensure timely settlement by managing custodian and broker relationships.
• Collaborate with systems/tech teams to automate and improve processes with new technology.
• Maintain and improve Trade Support processes, systems and data to maximize efficiency and minimize risk.
