Job summary

BMO is seeking an intern/co-op student to support securities processing and analytics, ensuring accuracy and timely settlement. You will engage in data handling, reports creation and process improvement while learning the breadth of operations within the bank.

The program emphasizes growth, learning, and contribution from day one, with exposure to governance, risk, and cross-functional collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience desirable; part of campus program.
• Knowledge of key products/services, processes and controls.
• Familiarity with risk/regulatory requirements is a plus.
• Strong prioritization and customer service skills.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for processing securities and trades in systems.
• Assist in booking new strategies and daily transactional data.
• Maintain governance and controls over trade capture processes.
• Create regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver on business objectives.
• Support training and development of tools for business results.
