Job summary

BMO is seeking a motivated co-op/intern to join our Technology campus program in Toronto. You will help build and operate an analytics platform, support cloud data migrations, and contribute to data governance and security. The role emphasizes learning, collaboration, and delivering data-driven results across teams.

This internship offers exposure to data management, mentorship programs, and access to BMO Academy and ERGs, with strong opportunities to grow within the organization.

Qualifications

• Foundational level of proficiency in IT operating model and data management.
• Ability to build and manage relationships and drive change.
• Strong verbal and written communication, collaboration, and analytical skills.
• Experience with data security, privacy controls, and system integration.
• Willingness to learn and participate in Campus program despite 3–5 years experience requirement.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and manages an analytics platform and data operations.
• Scales data functions for cloud and on-premises platforms and oversees production support.
• Lead production support and incident management with a tiered model.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to drive innovation and data-driven results.
• Proactively monitor data platform workflows and enforce governance.
• Communicate effectively and think creatively to propose new solutions.
