Job summary

Bank of Montreal (BMO) is seeking a co-op/intern student to support office operations and help drive business objectives across multiple groups. You will gain exposure to policy alignment, process improvements, and stakeholder coordination from day one.

The program offers growth opportunities, mentorship and access to BMO Academy resources, with a focus on developing administrative capabilities within a banking environment in Toronto.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience preferred, but motivated learners welcome.
• Certificate in Office Administration is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of the business unit's products, services, processes and controls.
• Understanding of risk and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide general office support and clerical tasks for one or more business groups.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to deliver business objectives in line with policies.
• Troubleshoot routine problems and escalate non-routine issues.
• Support change management and execution of sustainment activities.
• Schedule work, forecast resource needs, and train staff.
